Hi. CSE-H53N is cannot link two network devices such as a switching hub. It is just a serial to TCP or UDP data converter. That means it cannot process anything sent and received via lower layers than transport layer. Thus, you cannot use network applications including PING tester and web browser to access to the host through CSE-H53N. Please note that the connection between your device and CSE-H53N should be SERIAL instead of NETWORK. Could you try to use a serial application on your Linux machine? Thanks. > Anonymous wrote: > ------------------------------------ > > Hello Sollae! > > When i call url from device to host, i was recieved "fail to connect server" and "connect timeout" message. > > i was checkked status of CSE-H53N and Host properly, it is always "Established" and STS led(on). > > my device(192.168.1.1) -RS-232-> CSE-H53N(192.168.1.2) -LAN(Established)->HOST(192.168.1.3) > > Can I ping from device to host? if device could not ping to host that mean i can not call a url to host by http protocol was implemented. > > Thanks for regards > > > > > Sollae Systems wrote: > > ------------------------------------ > > Hello. > > > > Please make network CSE-H53N and Host properly. > > > > Ping test must be successful. > > > > If it is failed, TCP connection also will be failed. > > > > And where does "fail to connect server" message come from? > > > > I think it is not from CSE-H53N. > > > > and if network is fine, please check STS led(on) and [STATUS] of ezManager. > > > > TCP state will be "Established" not "SYN_SENT". > > > > if state is syn_sent(trying to connect to the host), your sever is not ready. > > > > then please check your server. > > > > Here is a FAQ. > >
