Your network diagram like below: PC(A) -- ethernet -- EZL-200F(B) -- serial -- EZL-200F(C) -- ethernet -- PC(D) In this case, you can'st ping neither PC(D) nor EZL-200F(C) of other side. Becase those are connected by serial port. If you communicate from PC(A) to PC(D), you should configure like below: [EZL-200F(B)] Permitted IP Address: PC(A)'ss IP address or 0.0.0.0 ezTCP Mode: T2S(0) Local Port: 1470 (arbitrary number you choose) Timeout: 0 [EZL-200F(C)] Permitted IP Address: PC(D)'ss IP address or 0.0.0.0 ezTCP Mode: T2S(0) Local Port: 1470 (arbitrary number you choose) Timeout: 0 Then you should make two TCP connections from A to B and D to C. (You can use telnet client, Hyperterminal, and etc. for TCP connection.) If TCP connections are completed, you can communicate from A to D bidirectionaly. If you want to communicate > Daniel wrote: > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Hello, > > I'sm trying to connect 2 PC using 2 ezl 200F and I have some difficulties doing this. > Each ezl200 is connceted to one PC via the ethernet port and the two ezl200 are connected together through the serial (RS232) port. From one PC, I can ping the ezl200 connected to it but not the other PC neither the other ezl200. > > Is it possible to do this ? Can you provide some help or advice ? > Thank you very much in advance > > Best regards > Daniel.
