I was talking about communication over the internet using the EZL-80 with the EZL-80 and wireless card connected to a processor so that I could communicate over the internet from a computer through the network connection to the PCMCIA card to EZL-80 to the attached processor. and I was wondering how to connect the attached processor to the TX,RX signals, because in the manual it says that you can connect the TX,RX adn gnd together and turn the flow control to NONE for communcation through the TX adn RX pins. But I have the problem of the EZL-80 connecting to the network when I have wires attached to the TX and RX pins on the EZL-80?????? > Sollae Systems wrote: > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > For using EZL-80, user should interface between EZL-80 and 16 bit PC Card or CF card socket. > And PRISM compliant wireless LAN card should be inserted. > > After then user should configure the EZL-80 by ezSerialConfig without wireless LAN card insertion after connecting EZL-80 to PC. > (ezSerialConfig is a configuration tool that runs in Windows.) > When configuring, user can set IP address-related items, serial port related items, and etc. > > Please refer to EZL-80 manual for more inforamtion. > > > > Ivan VD wrote: > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > when I connect a processor with TTL level RX and TX to the EzL-80 TX and RX swapping for rx to tx ...... the device will not connect to recieve a IP address and I turn the flow control to NONE too. then I disconnect the wires from the processor and left them hanging there connected to nothing and the EZl-80 still didn't connect to recieve a IP address. THe EZL-80 only connected when I disconnected teh wires from the ezl-80 and the processor. ?????? why
