In case of router has DDNS function, I use it. But in some cases, our customer has no DDns option in his router and I need to access CSW-H80 from Internet. In this particularly case, I'd like to use DDNS of the CSW-H80 to send public IP to dyndns name, as every "DDNS Client" installed on a computer. Thanks Frederic > Sollae Systems wrote: > ------------------------------------ > Hello. > > If you use CSW-H80 with a cable/dsl router, you should use router's DDNS function. > As you know, to access through Internet, clients need server's public IP address. > Under a router, H80's DDNS function can be used because the product gets a private IP address. > The private IP address is useless on Internet. > Please find a way to use router's DDNS. > In addition, port forwarding is needed to use H80 under the environment. > > If you have further questions, contact us again without hesitation. > Have a nice day. > > > Frederic Tilmant wrote: > > ------------------------------------ > > Hi, > > > > I'd like to use DynDns option of a CSW-H80 to renew my Internet address to DynDns.com, like every DDNS Client installed on a PC.
