[PC] --- WLAN/ETHERNET --- [AP] --- ETHERNET --- [EZL-80C] If you want to access EZL-80C through the external IP of the AP, port forwarding (or port redirection) is required. For example, if you send packet from PC1 to AP using TCP 1470 port, the AP should know about who has to receive the packet among the local devices (internal devices). Therefore, you should set the port (TCP 1470) to EZL-80C's local IP address (internal IP address). Then, the AP will bypass all packets come from WAN port on TCP 1470 port to EZL-80C. I think your AP has the option for port forwarding. Please let me know if I misunderstood anything. Have a nice day! ------------------------------------------- > nicolas wrote: > ------------------------------------ > With an EZL-80c as Client I have difficulty to configure the Wi-Fi router to access a fixed external IP address. All is running well on my local network, and I perfectly receive the packet send by the EZL-80c on any PC on the network. Simulation sending data with a Client PC (instead EZL-80c ) to the external IP also working fine….But when I target the EZL-80c to the external IP server, data not arrived at destination, as its will be locked by some process by the router… Any special recommendation about how to configure my wireless router according to the EZL-80c specifications?
