Hello Andress Kubb, Do you want to use TCP and UDP at the same time? This is the system of yours based on my understanding. [Network Printer]----(ETHERNET)----[CSE-H25]----(RS232-USB)----[Application: PC] Unfortunately, CSE-H25 provides just one session for network communication. It means that you should choose one communication mode between UDP and TCP. You can set the communication mode to TCP or UDP in the serial port tab of ezManager. In my opinion, CSE-H25 could not be a solution. By the way, we will introduce some of new devices which provide user programming. (PSE series) These programmable devices allow users to define operations via SolPHP which is very similar script language to PHP. If you have enough time, please consider using the new devices. We are expecting to release them in a couple of months. I am sorry for your inconveniences. Thank you. > Andreas Kubb wrote: > ------------------------------------ > Dear Madams and Sirs, > > we have an urgent problem with your CSE-H25. We want to send data from a device over TCP to your device and then over serial connection to our software. The device is scanning the network for network printers by sending a broadcast to the network. If we access the H25 by its IP-address over hyperterminal, we can reach it. Does your device support broadcast and what parameters do we have to change? Our aim is to connect our software to the device as a "network printer" by connecting the PC (our software) to your device over USB/RS232 adapter and a virtual com port. The master device is connected to your device over ethernet cable. If we connect hyperterminal to the RS232 side and make the broadcast, we don't get any data. Please help us quickly because we have a customer waiting. > Thanks. > Andreas Kubb |
