Dear Gerrit, This is Khanh from Sollae Systems' Technical Support Team. Thank you for using our products. The reason of your troubles may be like that: In TCP server mode, each port can have one and only TCP connection. In your case, if a computer was connected to CSE-H21 on these ports, connection request from another computer is refused. And also port scanner program can't scan these ports. One more point, ezVSP automatically reconnects to CSE-H21 after disconnecting. Please do following steps: -delete or stop all virtual port on ezVSP in all computers which are connected to CSE-H21. (refer to page 30 of this document: http://www.eztcp.com/documents/application/an_ezvsp_en.pdf ) -close all TCP connection to these ports on other programs (such as ezTerm or Simple Test on ezManager...). -reset CSE-H21. -run portscanner to check whether the ports open or not. If you see two ports open, the problem is solved. Before connecting to CSE-H21, please make sure that you do two things as follows: -delete or stop all virtual ports on ezVSP which are connected to these port. -close all TCP connections to these ports on other programs (such as ezTerm or Simple Test on ezManager...). I hope the above can solve the problem. If the problem doesn't still be solved, please feel free to contact me. Thank you, Best regards, > Gerrit van der Schrier wrote: > ------------------------------------ > Hello, > > I'm having troubles using this device over an MPLS network > > The CSE H21 is on a different VLAN behind a firewall. > > Firewall ports 1470,1471 and ICMP are open. > > the device is pingable, and I got ezVSP connected on some PC and not on another. When I use a portscanner the firewall seems open but the CSE H21 doesn't answer. > > It seems the CSE-H21 is having trouble finding its way on an MPLS network. > > I'm going to test with a laptop on the same VLAN as the CSE H21. > > > > |
