Dear Carlos Tadeo, It’s possible to setup your system with CIE-H10 and CIE-H12. I am not so clear about your systems, so I categorize in two case: - Only one input port of CIE-H10 controls all of six CIE-H12 - Six input ports of CIE-H10 controls all of six CIE-H12 (each input control one device) The second case will become the first case if parameters of six CIE-H12 are set the same. So, I will explain the second case. We called this system is “Internet Switch”,. Please refer to the following: - Introduction: http://www.eztcp.com/en/applications/internet_switch.php - Demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRFxd1mkun0 - Document: http://www.eztcp.com/documents/application/an_internet_switch_en.pdf - Example setting: http://www.eztcp.com/documents/application/an_comb_iocontrollers_en.pdf (In your case, refer to page 5 and 6) - Configuration logic: If CIE-H10 and CIE-H12 is configured as the attached file ( with 0 <= n <= 7 , 8<= m <=15) I explain configuration logic through a data transaction between CIE-H10 and CIE-H12. To make explanation simple, I simplify the transaction between CIE-H10 and CIE-H12. Irrelated steps are ignored. CIE-H12 as master request: - Request to read nth-address input port of CIE-H10 (slave) - Read its own input port (2 ports) and request to write these values to mth and (m+1)th-address outputs port of CIE-H10 CIE-H10 handles the request and send the response: - Set its mth and (m+1)th-address output ports according to values from the request - Read its own nth-address input port and send it to CIE-H12 CIE-12 handle response: - Set its output port to value from the response Note 1: - Address of input ports of CIE-H10 are from 0 to 7. - Address of output ports of CIE-H10 are from 8 to 15 Note 2: - If you only use one-direction control (Input port of CIE-H10 control output port of CIE-H12), maximum topology is 1:8 (1 CIE-H10 controls 8 CIE-H12). In this case, Input ports of CIE-H12 and output port of CIE-H10 should not be used. - If you use two-direction control (Input ports of CIE-H10 control output port of CIE-H12, Input ports of CIE-H12 control output port of CIE-H10), maximum topology is 1:4 (1 CIE-H10, 8 CIE-H12. The example setting shows this case.
