Dear Jean-Michel, This is Khanh of Sollae Systems's Technical Support Team. Thank you for using our products. I am glad to confirm that for both CSE-M73 and CSE-M53N: - DNS feature can be used in "AT command" mode - You can enter hostname via "at+prhn" command. For example, at+prhn="www.ezTCP.com" To use hostname, you need to set the correct DNS IP address. You can refer to Application Note "AT Command (ATC) Mode" here https://www.eztcp.com/en/download/pds_files/an_atc_mode_en.pdf I hope the above is useful to you. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information. Thank you, Best regards, > Jean-Michel CARPENTIER wrote: > ------------------------------------ > I am working with a CSE-M73 for prototyping and will use CSE-M53N for production. > We would like to use the modules in "AT Command" mode with a host name as peer address. > I used "ezManager" in order to configure all the parameters (peer host name and port, DHCP, ...). > When I try to connect via AT Command "ATD" I can'st get the connection to the remote host. > The only way to get the connection working is to setup an IP address instead of a host name for the peer. > Could you please confirm me that the DNS feature can be used in "AT command" mode ? > It also seems that the peer host name cannot be setup via the AT+PRIP command since I get an error when I try to enter a host name as peer IP address. > Is there a way to enter a peer host name via AT commands ? > > Best regards. |
