We would like to answer regarding your inquiry.

Since you get the message about rebooting the unit, it seems that you are trying to use Serial Configuration Mode, instead of ISP mode, to update firmware for CIE-H10.

To update firmware for CIE-H10, you need to enter ISP mode.
Please make sure you enter ISP mode by:

+ Press ISP switch over 1 second
+ Or supply power to CIE-H10 device while pressing ISP switch.

If you enter ISP mode successfully, all the status LEDs on CIE-H10 will be off (except PWR LED).

Please refer to page 47 of the user manual to update firmware to CIE-H10.
