Hello, Our problem lies with the communication to the High Voltage Tester from our computers. The computer needs to communicate with RS232, and the H.V.T only has an ethernet port. We tried to connect them using your product, the CSE-H21. We were able to send RS232 messages to the CSE but were unable to get anything out of the ethernet port. The way we are trying to connect is: PC <-RS232-> CSE-H21 <-TCP-> High Voltage tester. The High Voltage Tester only has an ethernet port as stated above. We configured the CSE-H21 in Serial mode using RS232 to set the IP-address of the High Voltage Tester. We think the issue lies with the fact that there must be a connection between the High Voltage Tester and the CSE-H21. We are not sure how to establish this connection. I have attached a crude sketch, maybe this will help to visualize the problem.
