Dear Ulf, Thank you for the inquiry. CSE-H53N is a Serial Ethernet converter. It can convert serial data to TCP/IP and vice versa. To set up CSE-H53N configurations, you may use ezManager software. It allows you to set up IP, serial, TCP/IP, etc., on your CSE-H53N: https://www.eztcp.com/en/download/ezmanager However, we are not sure which Master/Slave settings you want to configure. To clarify your issue, could you please let us know more about your working scenario? Which components will CSE-H53N be connected to, via Serial and Ethernet? Which protocols you are using, and what exactly Master/Slave settings are in your application?
