The RX port of EZL-80c is NOT 5V tolerant. If you connect EZL-80c to 5V device directly, the EZL-80c might be damaged. You have to use MAX232 or a level shifter between them. (The ALVC164245 of TI Inc. is a level shifter.) > svz wrote: > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Hi, > > I suppose that connecting directly Rx/Tx from ezl-80c (Vcc:3.3v) to any other device which have Vcc:5V may dammage it. > => Yes/No ? > > Speaking about Rx/Tx TTL adaptation ( 5v / 3.3v), how can i interface ezl-80c with : > 1) PIC18F452 (Vcc:5v) > 2) MAX 232. > > > Best regards, |
