Hello. If you use CSW-H80 with a cable/dsl router, you should use router's DDNS function. As you know, to access through Internet, clients need server's public IP address. Under a router, H80's DDNS function can be used because the product gets a private IP address. The private IP address is useless on Internet. Please find a way to use router's DDNS. In addition, port forwarding is needed to use H80 under the environment. If you have further questions, contact us again without hesitation. Have a nice day. > Frederic Tilmant wrote: > ------------------------------------ > Hi, > > I'd like to use DynDns option of a CSW-H80 to renew my Internet address to DynDns.com, like every DDNS Client installed on a PC. Problem is the CSW-H80 don't renew "Internet" IP of my Internet gateway, but its own address, that is local. So I can use the CSW-H80 as a DDNS client to access it from the Internet. > > Someone could say me how the DDNS of the CSW-H80 can send actual address of my router? > > Thanks in advance. > Frederic Tilmant |
