The buffer size of EZL-50L is very small. The receving buffer size of EZL-50L's serial port is 1023 bytes. And the transmitting buffer size of EZL-50L's serial port is 512 bytes. The receving buffer size of EZL-200F's serial port is 64K bytes. And the transmitting buffer size of EZL-200F's serial port is 16K bytes. If data loss is big issue, I recommend EZL-200F. > gullentops wrote: > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > I am using a serial device without flow control. > (it is a scanning device) As it was normally used in direct connection of a PC on a local connection, the user could verify if data was well read. By connecting to the network, the user does not see the application running and hee is not more aware of the good readings and transmission. > I could use flow control on serial side if needed, but how can i be sure to never losses datas? is there a buffer in the EZL-50L? size? > same questions for the EZL-200F |
